These terms apply to consultancy services provided by Myles Health & Safety (Neil Myles), Co. Louth, Ireland, and to the use of this website.
Services
Myles Health & Safety provides workplace health and safety consultancy, including Safety Statements, risk assessments, method statements, site-specific safety audits and reports, PSDP and PSCS services, and the organisation of health and safety training through a training partner. The specific scope of any engagement is the scope set out in the written quotation or agreement for that engagement.
Quotations
Quotations are prepared for the specific work described in them and remain valid for the period stated on the quotation. Work outside the quoted scope is agreed and charged separately.
Your duties as an employer
Engaging a consultant does not transfer your statutory duties. Under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, responsibility for workplace health and safety rests with the employer, including the duty to maintain a Safety Statement, to implement the measures it describes and to keep it up to date as the business changes. Our role is to advise and to prepare documentation; day-to-day implementation remains yours.
Reliance and liability
Advice and documents are prepared with reasonable skill and care, based on the conditions observed at the time of the site visit and the information provided by you. They do not constitute legal advice. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the fees paid for the engagement concerned, and no liability is accepted for matters arising from information withheld or from changes made to the workplace after the work was completed.

Governing law
